Short version: you pay once per wedding, you can get a full refund any time before the wedding date, and we keep your guests' messages for 90 days after the wedding so you can download them.
Give Us a Ring is operated by Give Us a Ring LLC, Missouri, USA ("we", "us"). By creating an account or activating a guest book you agree to these terms. Questions go to hello@giveusaring.com.
We give couples a web-based guest book for their wedding: a printable QR sign, a page where guests leave voicemails, videos and photos from their own phones, and a dashboard to play, download and delete what they left. Guests don't need an account. It works in any modern phone browser, but we can't guarantee every device, network or venue will cooperate on the day, so we recommend testing your sign before the wedding.
Each guest book costs a single one-time payment, shown before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe. There are no subscriptions and no renewals.
We keep your guests' voicemails, videos and photos for 90 days after the wedding date, then permanently delete them. We email you 30, 7 and 1 day before that happens. Download everything as a zip from your dashboard before then; after deletion we can't recover it. You can delete individual messages, or the whole guest book, sooner at any time. The privacy policy has the details, including backups.
Messages belong to you and the guests who left them; we only store them to show them to you. You're responsible for how you share them. Don't use the service to collect anything unlawful, and don't publish a guest's message somewhere they wouldn't expect it. Each guest book has a storage limit shown in your dashboard.
Don't use the service to harass anyone, to store content you don't have the right to store, to break or overload it, or to get around its security (such as the key on your QR sign). We may suspend a guest book or account that does, and we'll tell you why.
We work hard to keep the service running and your messages safe, but it's provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the guest book it concerns. The one thing we'd ask: download your messages; a copy on your own computer is always safer than any single service.
You can stop using the service and delete your guest books at any time. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email account holders before it takes effect. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice to download your messages and refund any guest book whose wedding hasn't happened yet.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA.
